This year was one of beauty, as we celebrated the first full year as a whole school on our new campus, watched buildings continue to be constructed, encouraged our older students that "big takes care of litte" and to "leave it better than you found it," graduated 8 students, and most importantly, loved and glorified the Lord in all things. Here are some student reflections from the year:
I learned this year that I can’t do everything, but I can always do the next thing. It felt at times like I had a huge mountain to climb with senior thesis and I couldn’t do it all, but I learned I can take the next step. James, Class of 2026
My favorite part of this year was being the moon on Planet Day and getting to revolve around the sun. Sam, Kindergarten
I really enjoyed history this year. I love learning about empires that have fallen. It’s just so interesting being able to go back in time to actually see something that has already happened. I also loved learning about so many ancient worlds and different religions that have changed today but are still, in some ways, the same because I want to be a missionary when I grow up. Henry, 3rd Grade
Something that is going to stick with me is all my friends here. They have just made this year. George, 3rd Grade
I learned that I want to be a life-long learner. I discovered the beauty and love for reading. Eljah, Class of 2026
I loved learning to read because you can wonder wonderful things in your mind! Elsie, Kindergarten
I really liked math this year even though it can be hard sometimes because I have an awesome teacher who helps me with it so then I understand it better. Then when I understand it, I can do way harder stuff and keep learning more and more. Andra, 3rd Grade
Socratic seminars are really fun! I love that they give you the freedom to have an opinion. Kaleb, 7th Grade
I loved doing more things with my House now that I’m in the upper school, it felt like I was a bigger part of the team. Sam, 7th Grade
I’ve learned that hard things can be good things. Cameron, Class of 2026
I really like Latin because whenever I learn a different language, I feel like I’m learning about a new culture. Isabelle, 3nd Grade
My favorite part of this year was my teacher. Henry, Kindergarten
Graduating this year, one of the things that I’m taking with me is my desire to be a person of virtue even when I’m in a crowd. Carlan, Class of 2026
