Regents Rhetoric Students Visit and Speak at the General Assembly

Regents' families and students spoke at a recent Virginia General Assembly press conference to ask our legislators to keep the Education Improvement Scholarship Tax Credit in effect and to expand it to serve more students in the Commonwealth. Mr. Harris's tenth grade rhetoric classes made the trip and also went room to room to visit their elected delegates. Special congratulations to Elijah Anokye-Gyambrah for his eloquent and heartfelt speech! Students were amazed to see the legislative process in action and went home discussing the different elements of speech and rhetoric that they saw in action (maxims, metaphor and more!).
