What a Difference a Year Makes!

Last year at this time, we were signing studs at 2010 Coram Deo Drive and this year we have 170 lively bodies inhabiting every inch of our new space. We are so thankful to have classrooms that have space for movement and group work (see video of music class here), backpacks and storage! Students also love the special feeling of our little cluster of buildings surrounded by trees. Our spaces are so beautiful, they don't quite feel real yet. One of the best things on the list for parents is for how car line in the afternoon has been transformed.

"There are still a few growing pains as we get used to our new campus," says Principal Mason Muur, referring to some unexpected fire drills due to HVAC dust, waiting for the full playground to be installed, as well as learning how to navigate weeks of rainy weather without indoor hallways. "We are paying attention to what works and what doesn't and are learning together with the students what it is to be adaptable. It is a chance to invite them into recognizing God's mercies and provision even in the middle of transition."
