Logic and Rhetoric School students began their year with an annual retreat to Watermarks Camp during the second week of school. "The students had fun bonding and completing activities and challenges, including a very tough obstacle course that the students handled with a lot of grit and toughness!" said Principal Christopher Webb. "Coach Smethurst spoke to our students both nights about establishing their hope on the foundation of Christ and how that can anchor them through the ups and downs of life. On Thursday evening as he spoke to our students about the importance of taking thoughts captive to Christ, he told them: 'Sow a thought, reap an act. Sow an act, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a lifestyle. Sow a lifestyle, reap a dynasty.'"
