Varsity Boys Basketball Wins Regular Season Title

Congratulations to Varsity Boys Basketball who were VACA North Regular Season Champions and second in the VACA North Tournament. “We had a well-rounded team,” said senior David K. “Everyone contributed a lot and we showed a lot of resilience in battling adversity throughout the season by keeping our focus and working hard.” The Varsity boys don’t only focus on the wins and losses, but on building character. “Becoming better men as well as better basketball players is one of Coach Johnson’s emphases,” says junior David S. “When we lost our state quarter final game, he turned it into a life lesson that we’re going to learn and grow from.”
