Successful Gala + Match Fulfilled!

Thank you for your tremendous support of the Regents Gala on November 3rd! From superb emcee Dr. Chris Scott (who even sported a lion's mane at one point) and speakers to community business support, it truly took a village to create such a wonderful night. Special thanks to our Gala committee: Monique Moshier, Holly Britt, Carrie Montalto, Corie Scott and Laurie Mandichak. It was one of the most well-attended Galas ever! Congratulations to Katie Smith on receiving the Dr. Donald Richardson Award for Servant Leadership to Regents School. Mrs. Smith is our longest-serving coach at Regents, serving as a volleyball coach at the middle school and varsity level for over ten years. She also has played a key role in Regents Parent Fellowship over the course of a decade, especially providing leadership in RPF at the LS & RS level. We are so thankful for your sacrificial service to the school, Katie!

One of the goals of the Gala was to raise money for two activity buses and an armed security guard at the new site. A generous donor stepped up to offer a $30,000 match for all money donated the night of the Gala which was extended throughout the following week! Through your generous giving, we not only met this match, but exceeded it by $18,000! We are so incredibly thankful.

One of the highlights of the night was the school video by Sarah Hazlegrove presented at the celebration. One mom told me that she has watched it six times so far - and cried every time - it's just that good. Click here to watch!
