From the Desk of the Grammar School Principal

It truly is a wonderful endeavor to serve at the Regents School of Charlottesville. For the last three years, it has been my joy to teach fifth grade and coach a few sports at Regents. Now, it is my immense honor to serve as the Interim Grammar School Principal. My hope is that the families, children, and faculty of the Grammar School will strive to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.  

This year's theme for the school year is "faithfulness." Here are a few truths that I have been reflecting on: 

- God always keeps His covenant promises.

- Those who are faithful in little, will be faithful in much.

- God is always faithful, even when we are not.

At Regents, we are trying to be faithful in the things we say, think, and do, in how we partner with families, and in how we guide the children towards God's Holy Word. We desperately need the LORD's help in all of this, but it is encouraging to be part of a school that wants to be faithful in response to God's faithfulness to us. 

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.'" (Lamentations 3:22-24)
