Varsity Volleyball's Theme of the Year: Focus

Varsity volleyball has gotten off to a 2-3 start on the season. "We are a young team and we've been impacted by some injuries early on to the few upperclassmen we have," says Assistant Coach Rebe McReynolds. "But we're getting our players out there and we're coming together and we're learning. Our theme for this year is focus. We have been thinking about keeping our eyes on Christ and seeking to glorify Him as athletes. Hebrews 12:1-2 is the passage that has been guiding us which talks about looking to Jesus as we lay aside every weight and running with endurance the race set before us."
