NCAA Signing Day

Tuesday, May 9th, 2023

Congratulations to Madeline Reed and Reagan Smith who recently signed their letters of intent to play college sports. Madeline will be playing volleyball at Lancaster Bible Institute and Reagan Smith will be playing basketball at Shenandoah University.

"Madeline's influence has left such a beautiful and lasting legacy on the volleyball program," said Head Volleyball Coach Monica Morgan. "She has graciously stuck with the team through all the growing pains of being part of a young program. It has been such a joy being a participant in that journey with her. It has been clear from the start that both of these young women are the types of athletes that from a very young age, you could tell they had the drive and potential to take their passion past the Regents gym and onto the next level."

"Reagan was one of the most feared players in our conference the last four years," said Head Basketball Coach Christopher Webb. "The game plan of other coaches when they played us was 'how do I stop Reagan?' We  never played anyone who played her straight up; she was always double teamed and triple teamed. She had a gravitational pull every time she stepped on the floor that was born out of the hidden hours of practice that she put in from the end of one season to when the next one began. No one works harder than Reagan in practice. She averaged a double-double junior and senior years and was far and away our leading rebounder. Reagan was VACA All-State and VACA All-Region this past year. What Shenandoah University is getting with Reagan is someone who is extremely selfless, extremely hard working, but also a wonderful teammate."
