Medieval Feast In Fourth Grade

Fourth grade entered into the middle ages in a new way recently through their stomachs at their medieval feast. "Living history days are embodied learning where students engage not only intellectually but with their whole person," says Academic Dean Amy Lindsey. "They are an opportunity for history to come to life, and especially teach the virtue of pathos - which is essentially the ability to put oneself in someone else's shoes and to see life from their point of view."
