Third Grade Visits Grand Caverns

Third grade ventured to Grand Caverns in Augusta County as part of its study of earth science. "The Grand Caverns has miles of cave formations and historic stories and over 250 of the mysterious shield formation,” says teacher Hayley Fleming “Students are amazed at the detail of creation even underground!" Third grader Jonathan R. chimes in, “What surprised me most about the field trip was how dark it was when they turned all the lights out!”
