Second Grade Explores the Moons of Jupiter

Mr. Paurillo’s second graders read a book during library that got them wondering exactly how many moons Jupiter has, which led to spontaneous research. The students found books about planets and learned how to use an index to look up information. They triumphantly found their answer! Jupiter has 57 named moons (plus some that are still awaiting names).
