Congratulations to Rose D. for winning the 2022 Coram Deo Award, Regents School's highest award! "Coram Deo" means "before the face of God" and each year the faculty of Regents School of Charlottesville select one student to receive this honor who has embodied the spirit of Coram Deo here in our school.

"To live Coram Deo is to live one's entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the glory of God," said Head of School Courtney Palumbo. "Rose has demonstrated selflessness, servant heartedness, humility, self control, kindness, gentleness and patience. With her infectious laugh, she brings a sense of joy and lightness with her wherever she goes. She is thoughtful, enjoys learning and has managed to cultivate wonder at God's creation in the world around her. Rose has fully invested herself in the Regents community and her fellow classmates, providing encouragment, perspective and an example to follow. She is a leader, finding opportunities not only to personally worship the Lord but also to create space for others to join her in that endeavor.
