End of Year Traditions

Monday, June 13th, 2022

As a student progresses from Grammar to Logic School to Rhetoric School we practice certain rites of passage, recognizing maturity, growth and achievement. A student can more easily embrace their new responsibilities and roles in the future as adults when they are given opportunities to practice this during their development. Students in sixth grade receive a rose and tie, marking the completion of the Grammar School and their step up to Logic School. Students in eighth grade receive their blazer, marking the end of their time in the middle years, and looking up to their new freedoms and responsibilities in the School of Rhetoric.  And soon-to-be graduates place stoles onto the rising seniors symbolizing a passing of the mantle of authority. Congratulations to all who were promoted to their next step!
