College Acceptances Rolling In

Seniors are starting to hear back about their early applications! So far this year seniors have already been accepted early into Virginia Tech, Christopher Newport’s honors program, University of North Carolina Wilmington, JMU, UNC Greensboro – and more! The pandemic has made this year an especially competitive year for college acceptances as students who postponed college due to the threat of remote learning are re-entering the application pipeline. Virginia Tech received over 45,000 applications for just over 6,000 freshman slots! Congratulations, seniors!

This semester, representatives from Patrick Henry College and St. John’s College will be visiting Regents. Parents are welcome to attend. The Patrick Henry College event will be on Tuesday, March 22^nd at 11:20 and the St. John’s College event is still TBD.
