Field trips are happening again! After more than a year-long hiatus, classes are able to travel to many of the locations they did pre-pandemic to experience the wealth of historical sites this area has to offer. Fifth grade recently went to Jamestown to learn about the first successful permanent English settlement in what would become the United States. "I'm a history guy," says teacher Mason Muur. "It is such a treat to be able to teach American history from the exploration of what would become the United States to the War of 1812!"
