Portrait of a Regents Graduate

When the students you know and love are little, it seems so far off to think about graduation. And yet, the days may be long, but the years go by quickly! It is important to consider now what is the fruit of a Regents education. How will your student be different than if they were educated across town at a different type of school?

At Senior Chapel and Senior Dinner, teachers honored each student by reflecting on their character and how God has been shaping them over their years at Regents. Listening to the variety of those reflections and accolades, a portrait of our graduates emerged. Our graduates were commended for how they:

• Love God and walk with Him in sincere and mature faith.
• Love learning and have the tools and desire for a lifetime of learning.
• Love beauty and strive to incorporate what is true, good and beautiful into their lives.
• Live virtuously and strive to glorify Christ.
• Live purposefully and pursue excellence according to their God-given gifts.
• Love and serve others and contribute to authentic Christian community.
• Discern truth, reason critically, and evaluate all truth in relation to God's revealed truth.
• Communicate eloquently and express themselves with grace and confidence.

What a list! We are so proud of you, Class of 2021 and send you on to your next steps with our love and prayers!
