Second Grade Celebrates Lewis & Clark Day

At Regents School, second grade studies Virginia state history, and they have most recently been learning about the explorations of Lewis and Clark. Today was a special day as the students hosted Lewis and Clark Day, where students presented their exploration journals, played traditional games, showed their creativity through crafts, and shared a trail feast of Old Mandan Bean Soup and Butter Island Spoon Bread. Lewis and Clark Day is certainly a highlight of second grade!
