Logic and Rhetoric School Students Attend Regent University’s Clash of the Titans

In October, students in the Logic and Rhetoric School traveled to Virginia Beach to attend Regent University’s annual debate, Clash of the Titans. At the debate, Regents students observed a distinguished panel discuss whether America has lost its leading edge. The panel included Steve Forbes, John Bolton, Brian Mulroney, and Felipe Calderón with Jay Sekulow serving as moderator.

While on the trip, students also had the opportunity to cheer for some of their classmates at a Regents volleyball game and to play soccer and swim at the beach. After attending the event, Dr. Larsen led the students in their own discussion of the debate topic, “Has America Lost Its Leading Edge?” 

What a wonderful experience to reinforce the students’ training in their logic and rhetoric classes!
